Founders of Cypress View Builders and Cypress View Properties, Larry Figueroa and Robert Pizzuto met at age 17 and became best friends while working in the Men’s Department at a San Diego Sears location.

Robert graduated from San Diego State University then went on to California Western School of Law. He has been a member of the California Bar Association since 1995. In addition to being one of the Principals of Cypress View Properties and Cypress View Builders, Robert Pizzuto is the Managing Shareholder of Hughes & Pizzuto, APC. Larry Figueroa, who shares acting as Principal of Cypress View Properties and Cypress View Builders with Robert, has a passion for construction that led him to obtain his contractor’s license and build a company that focused on military construction in the Middle East. The rough working conditions were hard on him, and he deeply missed celebrating holidays and birthdays with his family in the States.

Larry and Robert are like-minded when it comes to their values and expectations. 
Their whole lives have been together. They were in each other’s weddings. Their kids have grown up together.

Robert and Larry’s talents complement each other. Robert’s knowledge of real estate, real estate law, estate planning law and taxes, melds beautifully with Larry’s 20+ years of industrial, commercial and residential construction design.

The opportunity to work together presented itself when Robert asked Larry if he would consider managing the property of one of his firm’s estate planning clients. Larry accepted the opportunity and was mentored by his client’s retiring property manager. Through this association Larry gained a firm foundation of asset and property management knowledge.

Cypress View Properties and Cypress View Builders were born in October 2013.

The combined office of the two companies that reside under one roof in downtown San Diego began with Larry and a part-time assistant. Cypress View has since grown to a staff of 22 people who manage properties, and are in the process of remodeling beautiful homes throughout San Diego County and the Palm Springs desert.
